Despite originating as a harvest festival, Thanksgiving is now widely celebrated  as a day for giving thanks for blessings throughout the year. Although the United States is the country most commonly linked to the holiday, Thanksgiving Day is also celebrated in Canada on the second Monday of October.

Generally, people know that it is a day for giving thanks and that Thanksgiving dinner consists of turkey. We would like to share this American tradition with our guests at the Midwestern Diner. We would also like to share a family tradition from our own home. There will be small postcards set on each table with a gratefulness exercise, which allows you to not 3 things which you are grateful for and share with the table.

This year’s menu consists of;

Starter:
Butternut squash soup served with cornbread muffins.

Main:
Turkey with gravy, cranberry sauce, served with a side of sweet potato casserole and leafy seasonal salad.

Dessert:
Pumpkin pie with whipped pumpkin spice cream.

Early bird special price is only 299,- pr person! Children under 10 years old get half off.

Since we had to disappoint so many of you last year, we have extended Thanksgiving at the Diner this year from Thursday the 24th until Sunday the 27th of November. Book tickets on our website and come join us for a day of giving thanks to those we hold dearest in our hearts. We have two seatings, one at 18:00 and another at 20:00.
